Kasem Bundit Steps onto the Global Stage
Ranked in UI Green Metric World University Rankings 2025

Kasem Bundit University has once again created a sense of pride by being ranked the 1,099th most sustainable university in the world in the UI Green Metric World University Rankings 2025. Out of more than across 105 countries, the university achieved a total score of 4,800, reflecting its concrete commitment to sustainable development in every dimension.
The assessment highlights the university’s strong performance in the Energy and Climate Change category, which carries the highest weight in the ranking. This includes efficient energy use, the promotion of renewable energy, and serious efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. This is followed by the Transportation category, which focuses on reducing the use of private vehicles, supporting clean energy transportation, and developing pedestrian-friendly infrastructure to help lower the university’s carbon footprint.
In addition, the university has integrated sustainability concepts into teaching and learning, research, student activities, and academic services for society. These efforts are carried out alongside waste management, water resource management, green space development, and the use of information technology to continuously monitor and evaluate progress.
This achievement reflects Kasem Bundit University’s role as a higher education institution that actively drives sustainable development, in alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the global Green University concept, while moving forward with pride toward a sustainable future.
